Determine the size of your wire rope(s). The Wire Rope Lubricator can lubricate ropes from 5/16" (8mm) through to 2.625" (67mm). It is recommended that wire ropes be physically measured prior to ordering seals and scrapers as ropes in service can stretch and sizes may vary. The illustrations below show how to measure a wire rope.

Select your seal size based on the wire rope to be lubricated.
Note that each seal can accommodate a range of wire rope sizes.
The Wire Rope Lubricator Seals are made from a polyurethane material which is extremely durable and wearresistant, while at the same time being flexible to achieve excellent sealing under pressure.
The seals come in pairs to suit each individual rope size and are identical so can be reversed if one end becomes worn. They are easily removed and changed for different size ropes or cleaning and storage after use.
There are 14 different size seals to accommodate wire ropes from 5/16" to 2.5" (8-63mm). Consult our Seal Selection Guide below to determine the right size Seals for your wire rope.
Note:
Some wire rope sizes can be lubricated by more than one size seal. If this is possible for your particular wire rope size, select a seal that may suit other size wire ropes that you have on site. If you do not have other similar sized ropes, select the larger of the seals.
